| Description | A regionally based land trust and charity dedicated to conserving the natural and cultural heritage and distinct landscapes of the Kawarthas. Acquires and stewards important sites, enters into conservation agreements with land owners, raises funds, contributes to landscape planning and shares information by building on community knowledge, research and scientific practice. Enhances ecological health and economic well-being and sustains the outdoor traditions of the Kawartha bio-region. Answers questions about land trust stewardship and tax benefits of donating land.
