| Description | Niijkiwendidaa Anishnaabekwewag Services Circle is a community-based agency that provides counselling services and traditional healing programs. Services and healing programs offer clients a wide variety of healing opportunities including: one-to-one counselling, healing circles, sharing circles, art therapy, as well as holistic healing. Activities include weekly women and wellness group, employment specific programs related economic independence and community safety. Other services include but are not limited to: Transitional Housing Support, Healthy Babies and Healthy Children Program, Crisis Support, Long Term Councelling, Life Skills, Child Witness Program, Employment Counselling. Guest speakers are available to facilitate workshops and share teachings on a variety of issues related to Aboriginal health and healing, issues of abuse, multi generational trauma, cultural sensitivity, and Aboriginal awareness. | |||
