Description & Services
DescriptionCity of Kawartha Lakes Service Centres are located in: Bethany, Bobcaygeon, Coboconk, Kirkfield, Lindsay and Omemee Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. 
 
Services Provided:  
*Tax/water/sewer account inquiries and payments/duplicate tax receipts  
*Licensing and permit services- e.g. dog, building permits, (marriage licenses only at Lindsay) lottery licenses, entrance permits, burial permits, burn permits and Commissioner of Oaths services  
*Photocopying and facsimile services  
*Bookings for municipal community rental facilities  
*Pick up Green/blue boxes/composters/information about 
*Assist the public in completing a variety of municipal and/ or other government agency forms and/or applications. Explain municipal processes and procedures  
*Use the community bulletin boards to advertise your groups/organizations events and programs  
*Inquiries/Information and follow-up about service delivery issues and/or i.e.; roads, recycling and garbage collection, tax and revenue department, accounts payable, directions to landfill locations, animal control, and by-law enforcement, tax rates, area rating and property assessment  
*Generate interdepartmental action requests and follow-up to provide more information for the customer relating to municipal issues or concerns and/or policies and procedures  
*Council and Committee agendas and an update prepared by the City's Communications & Research Coordinator, which outlines the decisions made by Council.  
 
Customer Service Representatives as well as other municipal service providers such as building inspectors, area road managers and administrative assistants, parks & recreation area supervisors and community development coordinators, and fire prevention inspectors are located at each Service Centre.
