Description (Service) | The Centre is operated by the Simcoe County District School Board to provide adult learners with a full range of opportunities to develop new skills/certifications, to enhance current knowledge and to achieve personal goals related to further education and employment. Full-time and part-time programs are offered. Adult students can fast-track their diploma by earning equivalent credits through PLAR and maturity credits. Recognition is given for prior learning and work-related experience. Programs Offered: * Literacy & Essential Skills preparing students for credit courses and enhancing employment opportunities (funded by the Ministry of Colleges and Universities) * Ontario Secondary School Certificate (Grade 10) * Ontario Secondary School Diploma (Grade 12) * Personal Support Worker * eLearning Courses * Correspondence Courses * English as a Second Language (ESL) Meeting space - 4 rooms capacity 10-30 * Audio visual equipment |
