Description (Service) Library responds to community needs by collecting, organizing, preserving and disseminating information, ideas and all forms of expression.  
The library provides: 
* reference material and assistance, informational, cultural and recreational materials and programs, and engages in resource sharing with other libraries through cooperative agreements. The local history collection includes historical newspapers.  
* offers books, DVDs and video games for borrowers with a library card 
* Children's programs include Story time, craft, and reading programs. Other services include a housebound service for seniors and others unable to come to the library 
* Teen programs include Teen Advisory Board, craft group, french immersion group and book discussions. 
* Adult and Seniors programs include computer tech, board games, book club and drop-in cafe on Tuesdays at 9:30 am-11 am 
* offers the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP) free for low-income individuals

* CELA Collection in partnership with CNIB
