Description (Service) Support group for suicide attempt survivors * group meetings allow members to discuss challenges and successes they face following their suicide attempt and to share and learn strategies for survival and ways to relieve the pain that may have led to their attempt * meets weekly for 20 weeks * breaks during the Holidays 
Skills for Safer Living is offered by the Crisis Program, in partnership with the Simcoe County Suicide Awareness Council and the Canadian Mental Health Association, Simcoe County Branch.
Service Details
Public Comments Skills for Safer Living is a group for individuals who have had personal experience with regard to attempting suicide. The group is delivered in two, 10 week sessions and is facilitated by Mental Health professionals, specifically trained to deliver and support this group. The group typically starts in September of each year. Contact the Crisis Line to refer or for further information.
