Description (Service) Program to assist Barrie Police Service in reducing crime in the community
  • combined initiative of Barrie Police Service, Police Services Board and the community
  • provides an opportunity for trained members of the general public to patrol their community and report situations requiring police attendance

Eligibility
  • Age Requirements: 19 year(s) and up
  • require a valid G driver's license and First Aid/CPR
  • require criminal record check and drivers licence check
  • require at least 1 patrol per month for a 5 hr minimum
  • must be able to speak English
  • must be able to work as a team member

  • Application forms available at the reception area of Police Headquarters, 110 Fairview Rd and online through website
  • applicants are subject to a security check
