Description (Service) March 17, 2020 – COVID-19 Response - CMHA Simcoe County Branch has closed all offices to clients, families and the public. Exceptions may fall under provisions provided by essential services such as the Assertive Community Treatment Teams and Early Psychosis Intervention * all non-face to face service provisions will either done by secured email, voice or text 
 
The Crisis Program continues to offer 24/7 Crisis line support. This includes but is not limited to: risk and suicide assessment and interventions, mental health and addiction support, strategies to cope with symptoms of mental illness or any psychosocial stressors, consultations with police and community partners, assistance with service navigation, development of safety plans, proactive follow up calls to individuals and service referrals where needed

Regular Service 
Addiction counselling for youth between the ages of 12 to 24 residing in Barrie * using a harm reduction approach, support is offered regarding moderation, abstinence, alternative coping, family dynamics, peer interactions, and connecting to community resources * include individual support, groups and outreach in high schools across Simcoe County * support is also offered to those who are impacted by someone else's use
