Benefits are determined based on need and may include: 
  • basic dental care 
  • diabetic supplies 
  • eyeglasses  
  • hearing aids  
  • prescription drugs  
  • surgical supplies and dressings  
  • transportation for medical appointments

Eligibility Members of Wasauksing First Nation 
 
Individuals and families who:  
  • were eligible for Ontario Works in the previous months, or  
  • are no longer eligible for Ontario Works because they received a payment for loss of income under the 1986-1990 Hepatitis C Settlement Agreement
Application Individuals can apply by contacting the Director of Social Services
