Description (Service) Develops and maintains the Wasaga part of the Ganaraska Hiking Trail.

Ganaraska Hiking Trail Association is comprised of eight sections that plan local hikes:
  • Barrie
  • Kawartha
  • Mad River
  • Midland
  • Orillia
  • Oro-Medonte
  • Pine Ridge
  • Wasaga Beach
Trails for hiking run from Port Hope north to the Bruce Trail at Devil's Glen. Cycling is also available. Wilderness section. Plus local snowshoeing off trail.

Service Details

Public Comments Social Distancing in effect during hikes. Keeping the groups under 10 in line with government guidelines.
Hours Meet year round on Wed at 9:15 am, for 9:30 am departure
Areas Served Simcoe County
Eligibility Able to traverse 7 Km minimum. No pets. Use trails at own risk. Hiking boots required for most hikes.
