| Eligibility | To qualify for a Habitat home, families must meet these criteria: * present living conditions do not meet family needs such as: too costly, in poor shape, unhealthy, unsafe, too small * steady income, but unable to obtain a conventional mortgage * willing to volunteer at least 500 hours (Sweat Equity) for Habitat activities * willingness to partner with Habitat, repay the mortgage and maintain the home * fall within financial parameters |
