Description (Service) COVID-19 Response
Due to concerns regarding COVID-19, Keystone has temporarily suspended public access to their buildings. Staff remains available to counsel and support existing families by phone or email. New referrals are being accepted. Call 519-371-4773.

COVID-19 protocols have restricted some services' methods of delivery, but all services continue to be delivered. Visit the website or call to get details about the program you are interested in.

Regular Service:
Free services to families needing extra support to help them have and raise healthy babies and preschoolers

Programs include:

Healthy Beginnings - Canada Prenatal Nutrition Program (CPNP)
  • educational support groups
  • pregnancy and baby discussions with a registered nurse
  • healthy eating discussions with a dietitian
  • transportation and childcare provided free for participants of the program
Cradlelink
  • nurse-run volunteer home visiting program
  • professional nurses answer questions and check baby's development
  • provides volunteer support to sit with the baby while mom rests with a nap, showers or spends time with older siblings
  • helps mothers get out to appointments, groceries, go for walks and link with resources in the community
  • provides a non-judgmental listening ear
Parent Mutual Aid
  • parent support groups
  • parenting training program
  • quick and healthy cooking program
  • lifeskills training
  • free quality childcare and transportation help may be available
Community Action Program for Children (CAPC)
  • helps families with young children (birth - 6) living in conditions which may impact their ability to reach optimal health

Also provides parenting group programs for newcomers who are pregnant or have young children six and under, as well as a group for parents of young children who are in recovery from addictions.

Delivers EarlyON Centre services in Owen Sound and Meaford.
