Description (Service) Volunteer pipes and drums band

Performances may include:
  • Robbie Burns Night at the Royal Canadian Legion, Haliburton
  • The Highland Games in Cobourg, Innisfil and Bracebridge
  • Canada Day Parade in Bobcaygeon
  • Orillia Scottish Festival
  • Kinmount Fair
  • Bobcaygeon Fall Fair
  • Remembrance Day Parade, Haliburton
  • Rotary Carnival in Haliburton
Experienced or new members are always welcome. Free lessons provided for pipers and drummers. Practice at Haliburton Secondary School cafeteria every Monday night during the school year.

Summer practices (mid-June to mid-Sept) are held in Haliburton near the town docks by the park. The public is welcome to come down on Monday evenings to share in our Piping the Sun Down.
