Description

Environmental Farm Plans (EFP) are documents voluntarily prepared by farm families to increase their awareness of the environment on their farm. Farmers self assess their own farms and set realistic goals and time tables to improve environmental conditions. Similar is the Growing Your Farm Profits (GYFP) workshops that look at the business side farming. Self assessments and action plans are completed in each workshop. Biosecurity workshop may be specific to animal or plants.

In Ontario, farm, food and other agri-businesses can access programming to help grow their profits, expand their markets and manage shared risk - this is a 5 year program from 2018-2023
