Description & Services
Description (Service) Accredited children's mental health agency provides a range of free and confidential services to children and youth who have emotional, social and behavioural problems. Also offers support to families and caregivers. Multidisciplinary team includes social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists, child and youth workers and nursing staff. 
Presenting problems include attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression, behaviour problems at home and school, alcohol/drug abuse, extreme mood swings, aggressive and/or oppositional behaviour, destruction of property, cruelty to animals and fire setting. 
Treatment services, early intervention and outreach programs: 
* individual and family counselling 
* TAPP-C Arson Assessment 
* intensive in-home services 
* day treatment 
* residential care 
* therapeutic family care homes 
* Fearbusters anxiety groups for children and parents 
* psychiatric and psychological clinical consultation services 
* Triple P parent education programs 
* Health Families Collection and Healthy Families Workshops
