Description (Service) Humanely cares for abandoned, abused and neglected animals such as dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, other small animals and birds. Services include: 
* re-homing unwanted pets  
* dog and animal bylaw enforcement 
* animal shelter for the City and County of Peterborough 
* responding to calls of suspected animal abuse or neglect 
* temporary care of pets for owners leaving an abusive situation
