Description (Service) Provides historical information about the Trent Valley region and promotes historical and genealogical research about the area and its people.  
* Augments archival facilities within the Trent Valley Region for storing, protecting, preserving and interpreting archival and heritage materials.  
* Promotes public interest and appreciation of history through archives, walking tours, theatrical public events, and research.  
* Seeks to develop public support and benefactors for current activities. See website for schedule of events.
