Description

Description (Service) 2022 Dates TBD

Flu season generally runs from October to April each year. The best defense against the flu is the flu shot and is recommended for everyone 6 months old and and older. Immunization against the flu will be important this fall with COVID-19 also circulating in our communities. The flu shot helps to protect individual, family and community health and prevents increases in flu-related hospital visits.

Flu shots can be administered by:
  • Family doctor or primary care provider (ages 6 months and older)
  • Pharmacy (2 years of age and older)
  • Pharmacies now carry the high-dose flu vaccine for older adults
