Description (Service) | * Active with community programs that have an emphasis on youth * Sponsor an Exchange Student Program, Camp Enterprise (where students attend a vocational program at Trent University), and sponsor CPR programs at the local high school * Sponsor Junior Achievement program, Economics of Staying in School, at local elementary school for grade 7 & 8 students * Provide winter clothing for children, and support minor hockey, soccer, and figure skating * Involved in events such as Applefest * Internationally, the Rotary is involved in disaster relief and various other self help programs throughout the world. incl the elimination of polio * Assistance to those in need on a case by case basis - submit a letter with your requirements - will be reviewed on an individual basis. |
