Description (Service) Mission is to improve the quality of life for Ontario's seniors through their members with educational programs, stakeholder relations, policy review and feedback, research projects and research materials information, referral, counseling, community outreach and support, self-help and volunteer programs. 
* Community-based and includes organizations representing seniors, ethnocultural, health, native, recreational, retiree, disability and women's organizations.  
* Offers the following programs for their membership and the general public: Conferences,Tuesdays with OSSCO lecture series, Health Awareness, Information and referral and counseling, inter-generational and ethno-cultural programs, Computer training programs, government relations, research.  
* Seniors' Learning Series, Speakers' Lectures and Workshops offered in 7 Ontario communities, support and resource toindividual seniors and Seniors' Groups
