| Description (Service) | The Listowel Memorial Hospital is a member of the Listowel Wingham Hospitals Alliance, and servces as a major provider of health services in North Perth. The Listowel Memorial Hospital has 15 Complex Continuing Care beds, 20 Medical Surgical beds, 4 Obstetrical beds, a 24-hour Emergency Department, and is a training site for medical students interested in rural medicine (ROMP). This hospital is an Ontario Breast Screening Program site. In-Patient Services: Complex Continuing Care, Acute Care, Emergency Care, Ambulatory Care, General Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging, Anesthesia, Obstetrics, Diabetes Care, Palliative Care, Laboratory, Pharmacy Out-Patient Services: Allergist, Dental, Dermatology, E.N.T, Gastroenterology, Internal Medicine, Oral and Maxillofacial, Orthopedics, Pediatric, Plastic Surgery, Urology Outpatient Mental Health Social Worker, Shelby Douglas, BSW, RSW, MSW provides brief intervention to clients needing assistance in addressing social determinates to health, including income, housing, mental health and addictions. Assists with case management, linking clients with appropriate services, completing applications for programs and funding, and provides brief counselling support until community programs are initiated.
