Service: Human Services Justice System Program

Description (Service) Designed to help people with mental illnesses/mental disorders who come into conflict with the law * project includes Mental Health Court Support Services in Criminal Courts in Barrie, Midland, Collingwood, Orillia and Penetanguishene * Court Diversion for individuals charged with minor criminal offenses and Release from Custody services for inmates being discharged from Central North Correctional Centre in Penetanguishene * Release from Custody also assists people 16 years and older who reside in the North Simcoe Muskoka LHIN who may be at risk of involvement/re-involvement in the criminal justice system

Youth, Young Adults, Adults with have a mental illness and/or intellectual disability or acquired brain injury who reside in Northern part of Simcoe County * must be willing to receive and participate in services specific to their needs
Application Referral - anyone can make a referral to the program (self referral, individual referral or agency referral)
